We Are Proud to Join ECOG-ACRIN
ECOG-ACRIN is a multidisciplinary cancer research group that was formed when the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) and the American College of Radiology Imaging Network (ACRIN) merged in 2012. The purpose of the group is “to achieve research advances in all aspects of cancer care and thereby reduce the burden of cancer and improve the quality of life and survival in patients with cancer”.
As a member organization, RIA can participate in exciting, cutting edge oncology and imaging research studies designed to improve medical care. In fact, RIA has participated in a number of previous studies and will have two new imaging studies opening in the near future.
For more information about how we participate with this research group, please contact Alicia Drew, Director, Research and Physician Services at Radiology Imaging Associates.
