So You Know: Imaging Support for Clinical Trials

Radiology Imaging Associates physicians and staff have experience with the imaging requirements of numerous clinical trials. For research imaging, we can offer our standard imaging protocols, or adapt to a study-specific imaging protocol that may be required by a specific study. We offer various services related to research imaging including, but not limited to: de-identification, secure image transmission, data archiving/maintenance, qualification scans, oncological assessments such as RECIST, and more.

We will request the study-specific imaging protocols/manuals to ensure we provide the best possible service and quality, as well as meet all study requirements.

Many clinical trials require imaging which may not be considered “standard of care” and are not billable to insurance.  In these cases, we will make arrangements to insure that bills are directed to the sponsor or research organization, as appropriate.

Please contact Alicia Drew, Director, Research, Physician Services to discuss partnering on the imaging needs for your clinical trial.
