Radiology Imaging Associates has a rich history of participation in clinical research and innovation dating back to the 1980s.

At Radiology Imaging Associates we provide services to facilitate research imaging at multiple locations. For research imaging we offer our standard imaging protocols and can also adapt to a study-specific imaging protocol that may be required by a specific clinical research trial. We offer various services related to research imaging including, but not limited to: de-identification, secure image transmission, data archiving/maintenance, qualification scans, oncological assessments such as RECIST, and more.

For each clinical research trial that we work on, we request the study-specific imaging protocols/manuals to ensure we provide the best possible service and quality, as well as meet all study requirements.

Many clinical research trials require imaging which is not considered “standard of care” and is not billable to insurance. For such imaging, we collaborate with our billing team to invoice the proper payer (the sponsor or research organization) as appropriate.
